It fits easily on the counter, holds a solid amount. I have mostly been making smoothies and shakes. It's volume is no louder than any other, and it's convenience and cleanup is great. The only possible negative I can say is that because the mixer has a graduated start, it doesn't have a super powerful "burst" mode like most blenders. Cup is too wide, so when you blend any small amount of smth it splashes all around the cup, not staying at the bottom. 2. Plastic of the top absorbs dyes from the fruits & veggies - which is no good at all. 3. Heavy.
