I got this for my fiancee's birthday and we used it starting the first day. So far this mixer has done exactly what it claims it does. Nothing gets clumped up on the sides, and the mixer has several speed settings that are all reasonable. My favorite part is that the bowl has a separate motor that spins the bowl off center in the opposite direction as the beaters. Most mixers only use one motor, so that is a nice feature.

The mixer is also very sleek and modern looking. It doesn't look like any other mixer on the market. In general, this mixer is a very good deal and I highly recommend it.

I am a little disappointed with this mixer. I thought it seemed like a good alternative to the Kitchen Aid that we got at Wal-Mart for $179. I did not like how the Kitchen Aid made you scrape the sides of the bowl frequently. Well, this machine is not the answer. I still have to scrape the bowl and now I have to deal with the sound of a giant can opener. The advertisement about not needing to scrape the bowl is referring to the bottom of the bowl(diagram on the box), which is not a problem for the Kitchen Aid either. The real problem is the noise which is at least 10 times louder than the Kitchen Aid. I think this mixer was a good deal when it was priced closer to $100. I paid $150 and that is way too close in price to justify keeping it.

Pros:
1. Smaller than the Kitchen Aid but the bowl looks like the same size.
2. The spinning bowl is easier to scrape while it is spinning.
3. You have more control of the mixing settings....bowl and mixers... Read more

Great mixer, great price, powerful, not very loud, slick design, great for bread dough. One small complaint, taking the label off the bowl is a real pain, I had to use Acetone and rub it for 25 minutes and it still has some marks.
